Stefano Pallanti è Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences presso Stanford University(USA), Visiting Professor presso Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Visiting Professor presso Imperial College, London ed è Adjunct Associate Professor presso Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, dove ha ricoperto il ruolo di Fondatore e Direttore del Strategic Center of Excellence for OCD, Impulsive and Behavioral Addiction. È Professore di Psichiatria all’Università di Firenze e Direttore dell’Istituto di Neuroscienze.
Il Prof. Stefano Pallanti è NIMH grant co-PI sullo studio di Theta Burst Stimulation sul Gioco d’Azzardo. Per European College of Neuropsychopharmacoloty (ECNP), il Prof. Pallanti è membro dell’Educational Committee, Scientific Board, ed è Chair del Neuromodulation Network. E’ stato membro dell’Executive Committee dal 2016 al 2019.
E’ Advisory Council member dell’International Center for Autism Research and Education, international fellow ed Advisory Board dell’American Psychiatric Association per il Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, il DSM-IV e per l’Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Spectrum Workgroup for the DSM5. E’ membro del board of directors dell’International College for Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum Disorders (ICOCS), membro del PANDAS Physicians Network, ed è dell’International Neuroethics Society. E’ l’esperto dell’Ansia per il World Health Organization. E’ fondatore e membro del Clinical TMS Society ed è il membro del New York Society of Psychiatry. Il Prof. Pallanti è faculty dell’ International Psychopharmacology Course of the Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy e del Training School at Clare College, Cambridge University, UK per European Network for Problematic Usage of the Internet.
E’ editor dell’Archive of Behavioral Addiction, Deputy Editor e columnist del CNS Spectrums. Ha pubblicato 195 peer reviewed papers, 12 books, 4 manuali di psichiatria ed il suo H-Index è 55 da aprile 2020.
